1. Who we are

Querk is a product of Medina Digital LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company.

2. What we collect

• Analyzer submissions: your email address and the SQL, EXPLAIN output, or log excerpt you paste. The pasted text is processed to generate your review and is not stored verbatim; we store the generated review (which may quote parts of your query), the input type, its size, a timestamp, and your IP address (used for free-tier limits and abuse prevention).
• Subscriptions: billing name and email. Full payment data is held by Stripe; we never see your card number.
• Server logs: IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested URL (security and uptime).
• Site analytics: self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) on querk.io — no advertising trackers, no Google Analytics, no cross-site tracking.

Please don't paste secrets. Strip passwords, API keys, and personal data from queries before submitting — the analyzer needs the query shape, not your data.

3. How submissions are processed

Pasted text is sent to our large-language-model provider (Anthropic) via their commercial API to generate your review. Under Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. An automated verification pass may additionally route the draft review (not your raw paste) through a second model provider (OpenRouter) for quality checking.

4. Why we collect it

• Email — to deliver your review report, your permanent review link, and (for subscribers) your access link and service notices.
• IP + timestamps — to enforce the free-tier limit (3 reviews / 30 days) and detect abuse.
• Billing — to provide the paid service (contractual necessity).

5. How long we keep it

• Generated reviews: retained so your permanent review URL keeps working; deleted on request.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• Billing records: duration of the subscription plus 7 years (US tax compliance).

6. Who we share it with

• Anthropic (review generation) — anthropic.com/privacy

• Google Workspace (transactional email) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Hostinger (hosting) — hostinger.com/privacy-policy
• We never sell your data.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a machine-readable export of your data at any time. Email support@querk.io with subject Privacy request; we respond within 30 days. EU/UK visitors have the rights described in GDPR Art. 15–22, including complaint to your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

One essential cookie (querk_access) is set only for paying subscribers who use their access link — it unlocks unlimited reviews on that browser. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Changes

We update the date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes trigger an email to active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect.
